MEET BLOOM

Meet Bloom, Violent Cat Lady Yarn’s first yarn line. Bloom is a 100% wool yarn that has been grown, spun, dyed and distributed in the Rocky Mountains. The blend of Rambouillet, Targhee, and Cormo breeds makes this yarn the most bouncy, buttery and soft wool we’ve ever used. It is perfect for cozy sweaters and accessories.

Bloom is heavily inspired by Montana’s natural beauty. We hope you love it as much as we do 💌 

INFORMATION
  • Yarn Weight: Heavy Worsted/Aran

  • Fiber: 100% North American Wool (Rambouillet, Targhee, Cormo)
  • Gauge: 16-20 sts per 4”/10 cm
  • Suggested Needle Size: Size US 8-10 (5-6mm) needles

Bloom is dyed in small batches! We recommend getting enough for your entire project to prevent variation across skeins.

CARE

Hand wash in cold water, soaking for no more than 10 minutes. Lay flat or block to your desired measurements to dry.

Because Bloom is kettle-dyed in small batches, there can be slight color variation between skeins, and some colors (especially brighter or deeper shades) can be more prone to bleeding. If you're combining a bright color with white or other light shades, we recommend using color catchers during washing and blocking.
