Tiger Toque Knitting Pattern

The Tiger Toque is a fun, reversible double knit hat with a tiger motif on it. This is an intermediate-advanced level knitting pattern. The digital pattern comes with linked video instructions explaining double knitting and other techniques needed to knit this pattern.
Yarn: Samples were knit using Malabrigo Rios (100grams/210 yards/192 meters, worsted weight)
Needles: Size US 6 (4 mm) 16”/40 cm circular needles
Yardage: 95 (135) yards Background Color, 95 (135) yards Motif Color
Construction: The Tiger Toque is worked from the brim up, with the body knit in double-knit color work by following a chart. The stitches are then split and each layer is worked separately to shape the crown with decreases.
Size Guide: The finished hat measurements of 19 (21) in / 48.3 (53.3) cm in circumference and are designed to fit an adult head circumference of 21-22.5 (22.5-24) in / 53.3-57.2 (57.2-61) cm, with approximately 2-3 in / 5-7.6 cm of negative ease. Sample worn in photos is a size 1.
