Haunui is a very special yarn that comes from Taranui, a small, family-owned farm located in the foothills of South Island, New Zealand. This 22-24 micron yarn is spun from the fleece of the family’s flock of Haunui sheep. This special breed is part New Zealand Halfbred & part Romney. The palette of natural colors is ideal for warm sweaters, cardigans & accessories.  Soft, yet durable, garments knit from Haunui will wear exceptionally well.

This yarn is used to make our signature, Bitterroot Clogs! 

NOTE: Variations in color are typical across skeins. Your yarn may appear differently than the photo online, but the colors in the photo will be somewhere in the skein based on dye lot and winding. When purchasing, be sure to get enough yarn to complete your product! Dye lots may vary slightly in appearance.

⭐️ Gauge: 14 - 16 sts = 4” (10 cm) on Size US 7 - 8 (4.5 - 5 mm) needles

⭐️ Suggested Needle: Size US 7 - 8 (4.5 - 5 mm) needles

⭐️ Care: Hand wash, lay flat to dry
