Sizing

This sweater is written to have 8-9"/20.5-23 cm of positive ease, meaning it will be 8-9"/20.5-23 cm larger than your widest upper body circumference. See below for more sizing info.

Note from Jade: I am typically a Women’s US Medium and have a bust circumference of 37”/94cm. The blue sample I’m wearing in the photos is a size M. The brown sample I’m wearing in the photos is a size M.

Needles Needed

The Lily Pullover knitting kit does not include needles. Needles are available as an optional add-on.

  • Size US 8 (5 mm) 16”/40 cm circular needles
  • Size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 16”/40 cm and 32”/80 OR 40"/102 cm circular needles
GAUGE

16 sts x 24 rows = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) on Size US 10.5 (6.5 mm) needles, or size needed to achieve gauge, using Lang Lace Mohair (25g/339yd/309m) held double AND Lang Lamé Soft (50g/207yd/189m)

Construction

This Lily Pullover features a shimmering yarn and two strands of fluffy mohair. This project is knit from the top down, beginning with a folded collar for a clean, structured neckline. Raglan increases shape the yoke, and then the body and sleeves are knit in the round. To finish, chunky 2x1 ribbing is worked on the sleeves and on a split hem for the body. The flattering silhouette and soft fabric makes this the perfect project for the spring season!
