PATTERN

The digital knitting pattern will be sent to the email entered at checkout after your order is placed. You will receive the pattern for all sizes (XS-3XL).

This sweater is written to have 5-6”/12.5-15 cm of positive ease, meaning it will be 5-6”/12.5-15 cm larger than your widest upper body circumference. See below for more sizing info.

The unisex sizes XXS/XS (S/M) L/XL (XXL/XXXL) are designed to fit an upper body chest circumference of 28-33 (33-39) 39-43 (43-51)"/70-82.5 (82.5-97.5) 97.5-102.5 (102.5-127.5) cm.

The finished products knit in correct gauge measure:

• Chest: 36 (44) 48 (56)"/90 (110) 120 (140) cm.
• Yoke depth (measured in front): 12.25 (12.25) 13.75 (13.75)"/25.5 (25.5) 34.5 (34.5) cm.
• Length from underarm to hem: 13 (13.5) 14 (15)"/32.5 (34) 35 (37.5) cm.
• Upper arm circumference: 14 (14) 20 (20)"/35 (35) 50 (50) cm.
• Sleeve length: 19.5 (19.5) 20 (20)"/49 (49) 50 (50) cm.

The Bison Sweater knitting kit does not include needles. Needles are available as an optional add-on.

• Size US 10 (6 mm) 16”/40 cm and 32”/80 cm circular needles OR 40”/100 cm circular needles
• Size US 11 (9 mm) 16”/40 cm and 32”/80 cm circular needles OR 40”/100 cm circular needles

12 sts x 16 rows = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) on Size US 11 (9 mm) needles, or size needed to achieve gauge, using Álafosslopi (100g/109yds/100m)

The Bison Sweater is worked top down with a stranded color work yoke. The color work is continued on the sleeves and body, before transitioning to stockinette in the base color. Ribbing is worked on the sleeves and body to finish.
