We’ll gather in one of Montana’s most stunning mountain towns to slow down, connect, and be inspired by the land and the fiber.Throughout the week, we’ll visit a local sheep farm, wool mill and alpaca farm to see the full farm-to-fiber process up close. We’ll hike wildflower-lined trails, ride the tram to the top of Lone Peak for breathtaking views, and explore the charming downtown of Big Sky. Between outings, we’ll dive into fiber-focused workshops designed to deepen your skills and spark your creativity, alongside a community of fellow makers.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Big Sky and get settled in. That evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner to meet each other, go over the week, and watch the MT sunset while getting cozy with our knitting projects! -
Day 2
Take the iconic tram ride to the top of Lone Peak and enjoy breathtaking views. In the afternoon we will wander Big Sky’s charming town center, finished by a workshop in the evening! -
Day 3
We’ll start the day with a wildflower-filled hike to an alpine lake in Big Sky. After swimming and soaking up the sun, unwind with a relaxed evening workshop back at the house.

Day 4
We’ll head out to visit a nearby sheep farm + wool mill and alpaca farm to learn about Montana’s fiber heritage. End the day with a cozy spa night at the house, complete with hot tubbing, face masks, and a movie! -
Day 5
Begin the day with a fiber workshop, followed by free time in the afternoon. We’ll come together for a farewell dinner by the river to celebrate and say goodbye! -
Day 6
We’ll wrap up the week with a yummy breakfast & say our goodbyes.
Accommodations
Our home for the week is a stunning mountain lodge at Big Sky Resort with breathtaking views of Lone Peak. This spacious house will be our cozy home base for the week! We’ll also have a private chef onsite who will be making delicious, nourishing meals daily.
Trip pricing is based on the room you prefer:
- Loft Rooms: $2,550
Summer camp-style rooms with multiple bunk beds. You will be assigned one of two loft rooms: one with 3 beds and one with 5 beds. - Shared King Bedroom: $2,950
Designed for folks coming with a friend who want a private room to share. - Single Queen Bedroom: $3,550
A private room with a queen bed. - Single King Bedroom: $3,650
A private room with a king bed.
The Details

- 5 nights of lodging in Big Sky
- All meals catered at private chef (daily breakfast, lunch, appetizers, dinner and dessert). One dinner at restaurant not included.
- Transportation during the retreat
- All excursions (ie. tram ride, wool mill tour, etc.)
- Materials and supplies for all workshops
- Arrival Airport Transfer (Day 1 – May 21): A group airport transfer will depart at 3:30 PM. If you are unable to make this scheduled ride, we’re happy to help coordinate a transfer with a third-party provider (cost not included in retreat price).
- Departure Airport Transfer (Day 6 – May 26): A group transfer to the airport will depart at 10:00 AM.

Booking includes delicious, nourishing meals made by our in-house private chef.

There will be 3 workshops throughout the retreat. These may include:
- A knitting technique or skill-based session
- An intro to sheep breeds and their fiber
- Wool processing + yarn spinning 101
All workshops will be tailored to the group's overall skill level.

Fiber Artists of all types and skill levels are welcome!! We have had complete beginners and total experts attend this trip. We will curate the workshops + offerings to the group.

Fly out:Â Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) on May 26th.
Included Group Shuttle:
- Pickup from BZN on May 21st at 3:30 PM
- Drop-off at BZN on May 26th, leaving Big Sky at 10:00 AM
Arriving or leaving at a different time? No problem– we’re happy to help coordinate a third-party airport transfer for you.

Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. If space is available, we’ll contact you directly with a link to pay the 25% non-refundable deposit. This must be paid within 24 hours to secure your spot. If payment is not received in time, your spot will be forfeited and offered to the next person on the list.
The remaining balance is due 90 days before the trip begins. We’ll share details on how to make payments or enroll in a payment plan with all confirmed participants.
